Even though I focus mainly on Instagram and LinkedIn, I engage HEAVILY inside of health & wellness Facebook groups. Not only are they great for connecting for networking, but you can also request to join competitor groups (with discretion) and see who’s interacting with what. Now, I wouldn’t go stealing members or poaching business from your competitors, but you can get a better idea of what content is attracting attention and the types of questions that your ideal clients are posting. The more you know about your ideal wellness coaching clients, the more advantages you’ll have.

Social Media DM’s
Sliding into the DM’s isn’t just for rap songs. With proper social media management, private messages can become a GOLD MINE if you need to find wellness coaching clients. Look for prospects you would LOVE to work with and send them a compliment or question about their posts. It’s all about creating a relationship first, then worrying about the sale later. 🙂 This is how I’ve found a TON of business online.
Just because your ideal wellness coaching client is a 25-year-old female that struggles with her weight, doesn’t mean those are the only people you should be reaching out to. Find creative ways to leverage the audience of other businesses that could use your help. For example, one of my content marketing clients is a Wellness Coach Certification Program that lacks effective marketing education in their courses. One day the CEO and I were on the phone and I casually mentioned a possible collaboration in which we could “join forces.” Well, that suggestion landed me a guest speaking spot AND an affiliate program for my upcoming health & wellness content marketing course! You’ll be surprised just how much organic traffic and leads you can get when you step outside the box.
Having to create a completely original product that’s properly manufactured, promoted, and shipped out can be too much of a headache for most wellness entrepreneurs. If you don’t want to produce your own products, other businesses will GLADLY pay you good money to advertise their products. That’s where affiliate marketing comes into play.
If you have a particular company that you already love and buy from, see if they have an affiliate program you can sign up for.
